Bodywork/Exterior:

1 Note any body damage
2 Fit car protection kit
3 Check operation of all exterior lights and horn
4 Check operation of wipers and washers (front and rear)

Under Vehicle:

5 Check exhaust system for corrosion and leaks
6 Check condition of brake pipes and flexible hoses
7 Check condition of suspension components
8 Check condition of CV gaiters and steering rack gaiters
9 Inspect tyre condition and set pressures (including spare)
10 Record tyre tread depth

Under Bonnet

11 Check/top up all fluid levels (add screenwash)
12 Check condition of all drivebelts
(excluding cambelt/balancer belt)
13 Check battery eye colour and terminal connectors

Winter Check

1 Check instrument panel lighting
2 Check operation of blower motor and heated rear screen
3 Check cooling system, check condition of all coolant
hoses and radiator
4 Check antifreeze strength
